I teach grades 1-5 in technology integration. My class specializes in infusing technology projects into everyday learning. We utilize Google apps and a myriad of other web tools to create some awesome things! Feel free to check out some of our great work!
Week 2 Links and Activities
Day 7-11
The students will enter a Minecraft world and use the reseach they completed to survive together. The emphasis will be on creating a sustainable food source and protection for the group. Each day in the game, the students will complete an journal entry and that will be the ticket into the game the next day. Click on the link below for a view-only journal. Make a copy of this journal and rename it: Survive and Thrive Journal: Your Name.

Day 12
Students will complete a self assessment to finish the unit. They will relect on what the strengths of the group were and also the weaknesses. They will also brainstorm things they could have done either in research or in the game to improve the group's outcome.
